The Boonsboro Green Fest’s mission is to promote conservation, recycling and sustainable living within our community. Vendors will be chosen based on adherence to this mission, the availability of display space and the best mix for the Boonsboro Green Fest. Vendors must fill out the Vendor Application in full to be considered for participation. Vendors applying early will receive priority placement in Shafer Park.
Vendors must agree to the following standards before submitting the Vendor Application:
Do return Vendor application by Feb. 15 early bird deadline to save on vendor fee.
Do handcraft items from recycled and repurposed materials, where possible.
Do plan to set up exhibit by 9:30 am on event day.
Do provide your own display table and canopy.
Do plan to keep your exhibit open from 10 am to 5 pm, understanding that the event will be held rain or shine.
Do have at least one attendant on duty at all times.
Do use designated vendor parking area.
Do act responsibly by breaking down cardboard boxes and other recyclables, and by disposing of them and other waste materials in appropriate containers.
Do place sold items in reusable bags or containers or, where possible, provide containers made with materials having some or all recycled content.
Do produce printed informational handouts, such as brochures, on recycled-content paper products.
Do label all electrical cords you take to the park.
Don’t miss the March 15th Vendor Application final deadline.
Don’t use Styrofoam containers in the dispensing of food and snack items.
Don’t use plastic or other non-compostable plates, bowls and utensils.
